Linktree Plans Explained: Every Tier and Fee in 2026

Linktree runs four plans: Free ($0), Starter ($8/month), Pro ($15/month) and Premium ($35/month), plus a custom Enterprise quote. Every tier also carries a seller fee on digital sales: 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, 0% on Premium. Here is what each plan unlocks, and what those fees cost in real money.

If your question is "should I upgrade at all?", that math lives in our Linktree Free vs Pro breakdown. This page covers the mechanics: what is inside each plan, how the fees stack, and how billing changes work.

What plans does Linktree offer?

Four self-serve plans, plus Enterprise by quote.

PlanMonthlyAnnual (per month)Seller fee
Free$0$012%
Starter$8~$6.409%
Pro$15$129%
Premium$35$280%
EnterpriseCustom quoteCustom quoteCustom

Paid annually, that works out to roughly $77/year for Starter, $144/year for Pro and $336/year for Premium. Pro billed month to month for a full year costs $180 instead of $144, so the annual commitment is worth about one and a half months of service.

Two structural facts that most plan comparisons get wrong:

  • No Linktree plan includes a custom domain. Not Starter, not Pro, not Premium. Linktree's own help centre (article 6571689) confirms there is no option to replace the linktr.ee URL, and points to redirect links as the workaround. If a custom domain is a requirement, it is a reason to look at a different platform entirely, not a reason to upgrade.
  • The seller fee never disappears until Premium. Paying for Starter or Pro does not buy you out of it.

Pro and Premium both show a 7-day free trial on the pricing page. The Free plan has no time limit.

What does the Linktree Starter plan include?

Starter is $8/month, or about $6.40/month billed annually. It adds link scheduling, redirect links, font and colour controls, extra layouts, unlimited featured links, and 90 days of analytics history. It also drops the seller fee from 12% to 9%.

The trap: Starter does not remove the Linktree logo. Footer branding removal starts at Pro. Linktree's paid-features overview lists "remove the Linktree footer" as available on Pro and Premium only, and help article 5434182 says the same. A large number of third-party roundups claim Starter is the branding-removal tier. They are wrong, and it is the single most common reason people upgrade to the wrong plan.

Over five years, Starter costs $480 in subscription alone, before a single seller fee.

What do you get with Linktree Pro?

Pro is $15/month, or $12/month billed annually. It is the tier where the marketing-grade features appear:

  • Removes the Linktree footer logo
  • Larger standout profile image and full-screen visuals
  • 365 days of analytics history, UTM parameters, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel
  • Audience integrations: Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Kit and Google Sheets
  • QR code customisation
  • Instagram auto-replies, capped at 2,500 per month

The part people miss: the seller fee stays at 9%, exactly the same as Starter. You pay $7/month more than Starter and the cut Linktree takes on your sales does not move.

What does Linktree Premium add?

Premium is $35/month, or $28/month billed annually. It adds analytics history for the full lifetime of the account, unlimited Instagram auto-replies, team access and priority support.

The feature that actually justifies it is the fee: Premium is the only plan with a 0% seller fee. Against Pro, the break-even is about $222/month in page revenue. That is the $20 monthly price gap divided by the 9% fee Pro still charges. Below $222/month in sales, Pro is cheaper. Above it, Premium is.

What are Linktree's fees?

Linktree charges a seller fee on digital products, tips and paid link clicks sold through your page:

  • Free: 12%
  • Starter: 9%
  • Pro: 9%
  • Premium: 0%

That fee is not the whole bill. Stripe's own processing charge of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction applies on top on every plan, and Linktree takes $0.25 per payout withdrawal.

Because the Stripe cost and the payout charge are identical on all four tiers, they do not change which plan is cheapest. The subscription and the seller fee do. Here is a page selling $300/month in digital products:

PlanSubscriptionSeller fee at $300Monthly total
Free$012% = $36$36
Starter$89% = $27$35
Pro$159% = $27$42
Premium$350%$35

Two things fall out of that table, and neither is obvious from the pricing page:

  1. At $300/month in sales, Starter and Premium cost exactly the same. The $27 fee Premium removes is the same $27 more it costs. That is the precise Starter-to-Premium break-even.
  2. At that revenue level, Pro is the most expensive plan of the four. It pays the identical 9% Starter pays, for $7/month more subscription. Pro earns its price on analytics and integrations, not on fees.

How do you cancel or change a Linktree subscription?

Cancelling moves you back to the Free plan rather than deleting the account. In the Linktree Admin:

  1. Select your profile picture to open account settings (on mobile, tap More)
  2. Choose Billing
  3. Under Your subscription, pick change or cancel
  4. Hit Cancel Plan, answer the exit survey, and confirm Downgrade to Free

Your paid features stay live until the end of the current billing cycle, not from the moment you cancel, and a Resubscribe button appears on the same Billing page if you change your mind. One exception worth knowing: if you upgraded inside the Linktree mobile app, the subscription is billed through the app store and has to be cancelled there, not on the web.

Which plan do you actually need?

  • No sales, no branding concerns: Free. The 12% fee only bites if you sell.
  • You want the logo gone: Pro. Starter will not do it, whatever the roundups say.
  • You need analytics, UTMs or email integrations: Pro, and treat the 9% as the cost of the page rather than a fee you can escape.
  • You sell more than about $222/month through the page: Premium, purely on fee arithmetic.
  • You need a custom domain: no Linktree plan has one. Compare against tools that do, such as Carrd's tiers or, for creator-sellers, Stan Store's two plans.

FAQ

Does the Linktree Starter plan remove the Linktree logo?

No. Removing the Linktree footer requires Pro ($15/month) or Premium ($35/month). Starter at $8/month adds scheduling, redirect links, colour and font controls and 90-day analytics, but the Linktree branding stays on your page.

Does any Linktree plan include a custom domain?

No. Linktree does not offer custom domains on any tier, including Premium and Enterprise. Its help centre recommends redirect links instead, which still land visitors on a linktr.ee URL.

What happens to my page when I downgrade to Free?

Nothing is deleted immediately. You keep your paid features until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for, then the page reverts to Free plan limits: Linktree branding returns, analytics history shortens, and the seller fee goes back up to 12%.

Does Linktree have a free trial?

Yes. Pro and Premium both advertise a 7-day free trial on the pricing page. The Free plan itself is not a trial and does not expire.

Are Linktree's fees charged on top of Stripe's?

Yes. The 12% or 9% seller fee is Linktree's own cut, and Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction applies separately on every plan. There is also a $0.25 charge each time you withdraw a payout.

The bottom line

Linktree's plan ladder is easy to misread because the two things people care about, branding removal and the seller fee, sit on different rungs. Branding removal starts at Pro. The fee only reaches 0% at Premium. Starter, the tier most people pick first, delivers neither.

Work out what you sell through the page before you pick a tier. At $300/month in sales the cheapest plans are Starter and Premium at an identical cost, and the popular middle option is the most expensive of the four.
